It might be in the upper 80s this late September, but yesterday was the first day of fall… and the growing pile of apples on my counter needed to be used. Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. From pumpkin spice everything, hayrides and pumpkins, to Halloween and football, there is no better time than end of summer until the end of the year.
Recently I started using Young Living essential oils (more on that later). With two toddlers – one who is currently laying on my back as I type this on the floor while Paw Patrol is on in the playroom – I was desperate for a full night’s sleep. Cue the oils. Long story short, I love them. YL has a vitality line meaning you can put a few drops of those puppies in your food, not just diffuse. Consider me sold.
Cinnamon Bark is the fall scent. Before I even started this recipe, I diffused CB with a few drops of orange, clove, and nutmeg and it was like fall has exploded in my kitchen. Mix it up in your fruit dip and you just take a 180 with this quick and easy recipe. So quick, so easy that said back-sitting toddler helped me the whole time.
What You Need:
1/2 Cup of your favorite nut butter – I used Justin’s Nut Butter Original for this one
1/4 Cup of honey
1 Cup of plain Greek yogurt
2 drops of Cinnamon Bark (optional!)
Your Cinnamon Bark is going to be optional but I promise it’s going to put this from a regular dip to a fall dip so I strongly encourage it, however if you don’t have it, don’t sweat it!
Mix all four ingredients together and serve! Super simple and super delicious. I was able to snap a pic before my youngest stuck her hand in the dish to scoop it into her mouth!
We’ll definitely be using this one this fall. What’s your go-to fruit dip recipe?
